Step 1: Open Adobe Illustrator

Step 2: Create a new work using the print option (width and height should be above 200)

Step 3:Using the rectangle tool on the left side of the screen (or by pressing M), create a square that is 80px by 80px

Step 4:After creating the square, click the slash key below the backspace key on your keyboard to equip the Line Segment Tool

Step 5:Using the line segment tool, draw two lines from the top corners of your square at a 45 degree angle towards the upper right of the screen. The width of these should be 40px and the height should be about 35px-36px

Step 6:After drawing the two lines, use the line segment tool again to connect those lines at their tops by making a straight line that connects the two top points.

Step 7:After making the top square create a line that goes down from the top right point of the new square about 90px and then connect the bottom point of that line to the bottom right point of the original square.

Step 8:Using the line segment tool again, create a triangle using the bottom line of the top square as the base.

Step 9:Using the line segment tool again, create a triangle using the top line of the top square as the base.

Step 10: Once the triangles are created, use the line segment tool to connect the top points of the triangles.

Step 11: Clicking L on the keyboard, use the ellipse tool to create a circle thats' width is 30pt and height is 30 pt.

Step 12: Center this circle in the original square that you made at the beginning.

Step 13: Finally, create another circle thats' width and height are 6pt and center that within the circle you just created.

Step 14: Save and export the image as a .png.

Step 15: Email the image to jclawso@masonlive.gmu.edu
